Flex 102.5 Goes Live With Full Axia AoIP System

  

GBS Alliance (Thailand) has successfully installed and commissioned Flex 102.5 new radio studio with scalable and futureproof full AoIP system from Telos Alliance. Flex is an easy listening station available on FM, webpage (flexstation.net), Facebook, and Youtube. Located in Siam Square’s new  Lido Connect multi-purpose venue, the chic and modern studio is powered by top-of-the-line Axia modular Fusion console. It is driven by StudioEngine DSP mixing engine which is 100% AES67-compliant. Through a single CAT6 Ethernet cable, it can connect to the Axia network in the studio that has all AoIP gears wired to, sharing linear PCM 48kHz uncompressed audio and associated GPIO controls.

Not only can DJs control programming via Fusion, they are also empowered with Axia IP-Tablet Virtual Radio Software that virtualizes the monitoring and control of broadcast gear on a Windows tablet or PC. Aside from virtualizing control, the IP-Tablet also allows the managing of user rights for device access, linking a user’s profile to his or her needs. With Omnia 9 FM audio processor and Telos Z/IP encoding, the station is well assured that audio broadcasted and streamed on the multiple platforms for audiences of different listening device preferences is crystal clear and clean.
